Mike Goldense, Adam Mancuso and Doug Eberle prematurely left a Graduation party to record these golden sounds on a mini tape recorder in Doug's garage on a Summer evening. Luckily Adam was dumb enough to scream his vocals into the recorder's speaker or else we'd just hear his growling. After we recorded this we jumped in Doug's pool and discussed how good this was and that it was more than a practice -- it was our first demo. Then we discussed pressing CD's in his bedroom while he drank a can of grape soda.

The strip at the top left reading "EP/Demo/Experimental Insanity" was completely Doug's idea. He really wanted that on there.

The title comes from a joke about Adam's ex-girlfriend fabricating tales about him to her friends and family.

Adam's Apples is an Apple Core band. Apple Core is a combo of Thrash, and Experimental. We started because Adam wanted to get revenge on his crappy ex-girlfriend. Then when that gimmick ran out we just wrote tons of songs relating to (very) inside jokes that sometimes no longer make sense to Mike and Adam.
